Through urban walking, he records visual cues and traces of everyday life in drawings, then transforms them into 3D objects and projection-based installations in which image, material, space, and viewer interact. He conceptualizes this integration as “Projection-Based Object.” Rather than fixing moving images onto a flat screen, this approach projects them onto object surfaces and into the surrounding space, revealing the temporality of the moving image and the materiality of sculpture simultaneously. His work focuses on the relationship between surface and projection, the reconfiguration of fragmented urban impressions, and the ways in which the viewer’s movement and perception shape the completion of the work. In this sense, each installation is understood as an event that emerges through spatial arrangement and viewing conditions. More recently, his research has expanded to address questions of authorship, installation context, and viewer experience in the age of AI. From both theoretical and practical perspectives, he examines what determines the value of art and the conditions under which a work comes into being. With a foundation in sculpture and graduate training in Art and Technology as well as Film and Interaction Design, Park has continued to develop a practice that connects technology-based installation
